A significant percentage of Kansan’s resources is dedicated to R&D activities to set the standards of the industry. The R&D department, with its dynamic, visionary, enthusiastic members, always seeks the most advanced technologies to keep its customers one step ahead of their competition.
The R&D team tries to exceed not only today’s but also tomorrow’s expectations and ensure the performance, quality, and durability of the machines for many years to come. Incorporating feedback and suggestions from the customer base is vital in the development of these technologies.
Without any loss of quality, capacity, and running stability, our customers have peace of mind when it comes to processing the most difficult and sensitive substrates, such as highly flushable and dispersible grades of wetlaid and wetlace, low tensile strength materials like airlaid, and new generation biodegradables such as 100% cotton, viscose, rayon or mixtures of wood pulp and carded natural fibers on Kansan production systems.
Sustainability and environmental consciousness are the core of the R&D developments. The EU and member countries are at the brick of taking drastic measures to reduce the plastic content in wet wipes and wipe packaging, plastic films. The emergence of recycled materials was one of the initial reflections of this endeavor and Kansan machines are ready to operate with recycled packing films as well.
Our engineers are relentlessly working on faster, more efficient, and environmentally friendly production systems. Please stay tuned and follow the developments with us.
